If you have a bike that’s been sitting in your garage or basement or hanging on a wall or in a storage unit you should just leave it there. You missed the window of opportunity . The streets belong to psychopath drivers and kook bike rider groups that don’t know how to shift. The trails belong to off leash dogs and families of 10 with wandering toddlers. Don’t head for the bike path. Stay off the roads. Stay out of the parks. The window of opportunity closed around 8AM.
Tomorrow: Wake up early, start fresh.
Today? Do some safety checks. Lube your chain. Stretch. Clean your bike. Get your kit out. Find your tools. Go to the local bike shop. Buy some new shit. Take a walk .
