The chat group was talking about swimming in polluted water and I recalled an adventure into central NJ next to the Lipton Tea Factory in roughly 1996 or 7. There was an old train trestle and a rope swing that dropped you into the Raritan River that was full of tea run off.

I checked on the location to see if I could find it and it looks like it’s overgrown but still there. Lipton is long gone but “the abutment” is not.
